With this Atlanta heat, I think the entire city has been desperately looking for ways to keep cool. I’ve found myself simply avoiding the outdoors altogether. It’s a shame, too, because most days have been pretty lovely and sunny. That’s why I was super excited when I heard from the up-and-coming brand, Morerockin. The brand takes it’s garment inspiration straight from the bustling streets of Morocco, an undeniably sweltering city. Thus, it’s no wonder Morerockin’s clothes are so fresh and airy. In fact, I’ve been wearing these Santorini pants consistently as a way to keep myself feeling fresh.

Casi no he ni salido.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to admit I was a little nervous as to how I was going to style these Moroccan pants appropriately for a Western City. I use garments like these all the time when I’m back in Costa Rica. Then again, beach style and city style are not even closely synonymous. I knew the styling would make or break the look, and I think this long printed vest was the perfect solution to keep things looking chic and urban. I kept the colors light for Spring, and used silver, metallic accessories to elevate the ensemble. As a finishing touch, in order to keep the jewelry minimal and let the garments shine, I tied a small colorful scarf to my wrist. It really kept with the almost Bohemian, airy vibe, but gave the outfit just a little something extra.
